"It's been a while ..." since I last wrote a nice blog post
"It's been a while ..." since I let you know what's going on.
"It's been ..." alright! Done with that bit!
How've you been? I've been busy! 2016 has been a year of blessings so far. I've been fortunate enough to perform at the brand new Pocono Mountain Renaissance Faire near Stroudsburg, PA; the Mayfaire on the Green in Holland Patent, NY; the Smithville Renaissance Faire in Historic Smithville Village, NJ; the New Jersey Renaissance Faire in Bordentown; the Midsummer Fantasy Renaissance Faire in Ansonia, CT; the New York Renaissance Faire in Tuxedo Park, NY; and I STILL have the Connecticut Renaissance Faire for the next four weekends in North Haven, CT, and the Louisiana Renaissance Festival in Hammond, LA, in November! AND ... I performed on Shakespeare's 452nd birthday (400th anniversary of the "death" of Shakespeare - I'm still not convinced) for the theatre and English departments of the University of Maryland, I've performed for libraries (and am doing more), private parties, there's a boy scout troop who's hired me, and I'll have a New Year's Eve gig! Schools want to bring me in to perform - I'm just very, very fortunate, and feel very blessed to be at the point of the career that I'm in right now. I know that this won't last forever: nothing ever does. But I am REALLY enjoying the ride!
I hope to see you in Connecticut with me later this week!
