Small Business Saturday

As I sit here and write this, it's currently Small Business Saturday, a day set up by American Express to get more people shopping.  Cynical?  You bet.  A good idea, though?  Yep.

Your friendly, neighbourhood Shakespeare (meaning me) is taking part this year with the launch of an Etsy store, wherein I'll be selling t-shirts that go with the various show titles I've created over the years.  The shirts are all screen printed locally (well, local to me in the Scranton area) by a company called School Colors/Corporate Colors, located in Peckville, PA.  The designs on the shirts are by myself and my artistic partner,  (a truly spectacular artist!).  You can get them for $15, plus $5 S&H (so yes, $20 total), and I'm sure that they'll make some Rennie or Shakespearean in your family - or yourself - very happy!

You can also go to my Fiverr store, where I make silly videos involving a certain blue Monster who may or may not like to eat cookies!  Yes, I play with puppets, and it's glorious.  But seriously, you can send a holiday video to someone you love (or, at the very least, tolerate) featuring Mr. C.M. himself, for prices starting at $5.

If this post seems more like an ad than an update, you have my most sincere apologies.  I'll be getting back to updating soon.  However, as I launch myself more fully into the realm of self-employment, with Shakespeare Approves! taking up more of my time than ever before (what with the shows, the online store and Fiverr videos, having to cold call performance venues, getting ready to record a CD, writing the comic book with Todd) I'm really trying to push myself, make myself BE more professional, without losing my sense of fun.  So the next post should be a fun one, or at least a "story thus far" with your friendly, neighbourhood Bard.

As always, thank you for reading and for your constant support.  I can't do it without you!
